The glows are a little uneven.. but this, with the flames throwing up a little light, is definately a more positive direction. Still very much a work in progress - now part of a collaboration! Stay tuned for more updates!

I used Maya 2009 for this scene - it's effectively 6 or 7 spheres close together which all contain the different layers of the planet.
