Engine Shed: 3D Visualisation by Garsondee Engine Shed: 3D Visualisation by Garsondee
This is a WIP from a commercial project I'm currently involved in, this is a model of my old Uni's new student union building the 'Engine Shed'. This is aprox. 2 weeks relaxed work (a couple of hours most days) by this stage, the modeling is done from two blue prints of the ground and first floor.

In this image you should be able to see the original and very old brick of the train shed that the building used to be, as well as the main dance floor, first floor bar and some of the other rooms. This is an edit of a previous version, updating it to show much more detail. The modeling is extremely low poly because it's going on the web, all of the detail is in textures.

Hope you guys like it, I'll be posting every so often to show you the development process.

I used Maya to create this - not the best choice for architectural work, but it's the only program I'm confident with.
